Getting Hold of Us

Call 19492985796 and you'll reach someone who can talk through what's wrong with your door before a truck ever gets scheduled. Our address is 27261 Las Ramblas, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, which puts us right in the middle of the area we work.

Direct-to-crew phone line

We don't run a call center that routes you to whoever's closest - if we pick up, we're the ones coming out. Most calls we get are the same handful of problems: a spring that let go overnight, an opener that stopped responding to the remote, a door that's started dragging on one side.

Phone troubleshooting first

Tell us what you're seeing and hearing and we can usually tell you roughly what it is before we arrive. That saves you a wasted visit if it's something simple, and it means we show up with the right spring size or opener part instead of guessing.

No overnight emergency dispatch

We don't do 24-hour emergency dispatch - if your door breaks at 2 a.m. and nobody's hurt and nothing's at risk of theft, it'll keep until morning. We'd rather tell you that than make a promise we can't back.

The Areas We Cover

We work out of Mission Viejo and stay close to home. Las Flores and Laguna Hills are both about 3 miles out, Rancho Santa Margarita and Coto de Caza and Ladera Ranch and Laguna Woods are all around 4 miles, and Aliso Viejo sits at about 5 miles. We'll go a bit further for Trabuco Canyon at 6 miles, and we cover San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach and Rancho Mission Viejo out around 8 miles.

Further out we still take calls from Silverado, San Clemente, North Tustin, Temescal Valley, Lakeland Village, Villa Park, El Cerrito, Lake Elsinore, and Warm Springs - the range runs from 10 miles up to about 20 miles depending on which of those you're in. If you're near the edge of that range, call and ask rather than assume; it depends on the day and what else is on the schedule.

A white van is parked in the driveway of a house with a white garage door.

The area we serve covers 172,061 households, with 80,921 of those owner-occupied houses - which is the bulk of what we actually work on. Rentals and multifamily buildings exist here too, but a sagging two-car door on a single-family driveway is still the most common job that comes through.

Our services

What We Actually Do

Housing stock across our service area runs from 1938 up through 2015, with the median build year landing around 1983, and most of the 20 named areas we cover are dominated by 1980s and 90s construction.

Older door hardware

That matters for garage doors more than people expect. A house from the early 80s often still has its original steel section door and a torsion spring sized for weight ratings nobody uses anymore. A newer build from the 2000s or later is more likely running an insulated door with a screw-drive or belt-drive opener that just needs a sensor realigned or a logic board reset.

Range of repairs offered

We work on springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, openers, and full door replacements. We balance doors that have gone heavy on one side, swap out worn rollers before they take a track out with them, and replace openers that are cycling but not actually lifting.

Age, not weather

Our mild temperate climate here means we're not fighting the frozen tracks or ice-jammed openers that garage door companies deal with up north - most of what fails on doors in this area fails from age and use, not weather extremes.

Spring over full replacement

That's one reason parts tend to outlast what you'd expect, and also why a 40-year-old torsion spring that finally gives out can take you by surprise. We don't replace a whole door when a spring and a service call will do - but once the panels are rusted through or the track is bent past true, we'll tell you that too.

Questions

Common questions

Do you come out the same day?

Often, yes, depending on the day and the job. We don't promise 24-hour emergency service, so if it's not urgent - nothing blocked in, nobody at risk - we'll usually get you scheduled within a day or two rather than rushing a truck out after hours.

How far out do you travel?

We stay mostly within the Mission Viejo area and nearby communities like Las Flores, Laguna Hills, and Rancho Santa Margarita, a few miles out. We do take calls as far as Lake Elsinore and San Clemente, but call first if you're near the edge of that range.

My house is from the 1980s - will parts for my door still be available?

Usually. Most homes in our service area were built in that era, so we see a lot of that same spring sizing and hardware. It's older houses from the late 1930s through the 1960s where original one-piece doors sometimes need a part we have to special-order.

Is it worth repairing an old door or should I replace it?

Depends on the door. If the panels are solid and it's a spring, cable, or opener issue, repair almost always makes more sense. If the track is bent badly or the panels are rusted or cracked, we'll usually tell you replacement is the better use of your money.
